THE ASHTRAY HEARTS ARE BACK!

The Ashtray Hearts return to the 331 Club in NE Minneapolis for a rare appearance on Saturday, September 19th, 2009 at 9pm. Singer/guitarist Dan Richmond is back in the US for a few weeks before returning to Bosnia for another year. The Hearts have a handful of new songs. Come early if you are interested in participating in the 331's 'Drunken Spelling Bee.' Should be an interesting night.

ASHTRAY HEARTS PLAY FINAL SHOW OF 2008

Yes, it’s true.  The Ashtray Hearts will be playing one more show in 2008 before taking an extended hiatus.  Singer/guitarist Dan Richmond will be following his wife Melissa Mendelson to Bosnia where she will be teaching on a fellowship.  Join the Ashtray Hearts at the 331 Club in Northeast Minneapolis on Saturday, September 6th for a send off for Melissa, Dan, and the Hearts (for now).

"HEARTBREAK & HARMONY" RETURNS TO THE TURF MAY 3, 2008

The Heartbreak & Harmony showcase returns to the Turf Club on May 3rd.  The Ashtray Hearts will be joined by Painted Saints and Bill Caperton.  Painted Saints are lead by Paul Fonfara, a former member of Devotchka and a touring member of Jim White's band.  Bill Caperton is co-leader of St. Paul band Ela as well as a member of Askeleton.  H&H shows are always fun and we look forward to seeing you there.

ASHTRAY HEARTS RETURN TO 331 CLUB ON DECEMBER 14TH

The Ashtray Hearts will return to the 331 Club for what's become a rare Minneapolis show.  It all takes place Friday, December 14th starting at 9pm.

The Ashtray Hearts will play the Uptown Bar in Minneapolis on Saturday, March 24th. Joining them will be the Western Fifth and Brown Derby.

"HEARTBREAK & HARMONY" ASHTRAY HEARTS AT THE TURF CLUB ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH, 2007

Join us on Saturday, February 17, 2007 for another "Heartbreak & Harmony" showcase at the Turf. This time around it will be the Ashtray Hearts, Martin Devaney, The Winter Blanket and the Roe Family Singers. Music starts around 9:30.
